The Labs team collaborates with all business units by offering an innovation framework, ambassadorship and in-house expertise to transform the best ideas into impactful outcomes. What will you do?

As a Software Engineer in the NVISO Labs team your responsibilities will include: 

  • Perform technical exploratory innovation activities (develop a technology prototype with the team, running a Proof-of-Concept in collaboration with our (internal) customers, etc.). 
  • Design, write, test and document software for use in cutting-edge security products & tools developed in NVISO Labs 
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing systems. 
  • Engaging in continuous learning and development to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements. 
  • Providing technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence. 
  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops to contribute new ideas and solutions that address current and future cybersecurity challenges. 

Requirements

  • You hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in software or innovation engineering.
  • A master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Python and knowledge of additional programming languages. 
  • Understanding of fundamental software & infrastructure design principles.
  • Experience with integrating new technologies and methodologies into existing systems.
  • Strong testing, troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Basic knowledge of secure software design and security best practices.
  • Excellent English communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral & written) that enable effective work in a collaborative team environment (across the entire company).
