What will you do?
As a Cloud Security Manager with expertise in Microsoft technologies, you will play a crucial role in fostering business growth for Cloud Security and nurturing NVISO’s client relationships in Germany and abroad. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, responding to their needs, and coordinating projects with technical expertise. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, soft skills and technical knowledge to effectively communicate and deliver solutions that meet clients’ needs.
As a Cloud Security Manager based in Austria, you will focusing on:
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor in understanding their business objectives and technical requirements related to Microsoft cloud technologies like Azure, Microsoft 365, and Purview.
- Presales activities: Respond to RFPs, develop and present compelling business proposals tailored to client needs, leveraging your technical expertise of Microsoft solutions and the input from other Consultants, to offer competitive and viable options.
- Solution Design: Designing and recommending cloud security architectures and strategies tailored to the business needs and compliance requirements of customers.
- Managing the sales pipeline: Maintain active communication with clients post-proposal submission to address their questions and adapt strategies as needed. Track opportunities in NVISO’s internal platform.
- Project Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to plan and execute projects aligned with technical and business objectives. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Functional Manager: Act as the Functional Manager providing guidance, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement, and managing Goals & Objectives as well as yearly reviews of direct reports.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, any related field or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience: Proven experience in managing teams within information technology with a specific focus on Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Microsoft 365, and Purview.
- Certifications: Holds current cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or CompTIA SecurityX.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud solutions, including Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, Microsoft Defender suite and Purview data governance tools.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
- Short-term travel availability: The job position requires 30% of business-related travelling. Mostly within Germany, but eventually to other European countries.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects from concept to completion, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and data to make informed strategic decisions.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.
